Configuration - 2S2P 7.4V Firstly assemble your holder, wires and tools, minimum would be this lot
I find that wires about 27mm long are about right, with about 4mm of insulation stripped on each end
insert the wires under the soldering tabs on the clips - if your wire is quite thick this may be quite fiddly, fine nosed pliers help
You want to connect all tabs on each end to acheive this
and the other end in 2 pairs like this
Don't solder the wires yet, you need to add your power cables - I've used red/black wires here to keep things simple
Depending on the wires you are using, they may not fit under the solder tabs, if not solder the link wires, and add the power wires later
Solder the wires in situ, the polyurethane can take a fair bit of heat, so no need to be too cautious.
The most important step is to label your holder to ensure that you don't accidentally insert batteries the wrong way round
permenant marker pen does the trick for me, just make sure the surface is nice and clean - wipe off any silicon mould release agent first.
