Probably from repeated suggestions from aforementioned cousin, I bought what I thought would one day be a supermoto. Initially it was a fairly complete bike, although rather old, and in very poor shape, and a separate later engine. I then bought the majority of a later bike, stripped the frame, and had it powder coated. After the purchase of some CR500 forks, a new piston, and having the barrel plated, and some rims, the KX mainly sat in the garden. After it nearly snapped my ankle when trying to kick start it, I bought the biggest MX boots I could find, but the engine never started. Sold on in bits as a project hopefully someone turned it into the hairy beast I planned to.
